Default The new LS9 question

I have a question about the new ls9 w supercharger. Does anyone know if that blower/intake will bolt up to a regular LS1? Just curious, it might be too early to ask that.

It would require a head swap i'm pretty sure, but other than that it would bolt on. Would it fit under the hood and cowl? probably won't

The intake is designed for the LS3/L92 heads. The chances are fairly small that it will fit on a fbody.

Ya but the L92 heads will bolt up to a ls1 but the bore size is too small for the valves? right?

i don't know if their info is correct, but a recent HotRod article claimed that the heads are a new design. If this is true, all bets are off on interchangeability.

L92 heads need a min of a 4.00" bore. So a LS1/LS6 is a no go.

It would fit under the hood if you put a clear plastic cowl on it
