coil choice to replace stock LS1 HELP!!!
Hey guys i know from all the threads that most say the GM truck coils are the best all round coil of choice! I found a set of truck coils off of a 06 silverado. There called Mitsubishi Electric Melco #12558693 and there squared!! I was wondering ? Are these the coils I want to replace my stock 02 LS1 coils?? Will my harness plug into these or will I need a adapter harness to make these work? Let me know guys ASAP because my buddys saling these here real soon and if these are the coils!!I dont want to miss out on them !Thanks guys BARNAT!!

I used the MSD's. Everyone will tell you they are junk. Oh, wait. Everyone that hasn't used them. Bob at EPP has them on his car. I went MSD because I had a coil go bad and did not feel like chasing it down. Besides, they look cool. Have worked perfect so far.

the Melco truck coils are the ones you want, so those are correct.
not the same coil connector as the LS1 style. I think the LS2's moved to the new connect, but don't quote me
As for truck coils working, we use them to go 7.8's, 189 MPH at 3500 lbs. So I guess they are junk

Mike Norris sells the catch cans. I got mine elsewhere, but was in his shop and he is the supplier. Norris Motorsports..... Works good so far, and so far, I am not getting much. Maybe 3 or 4 drops in 100 miles....
We'll see about the MSD's. Good so far, but I only do about 1-2k miles a year anyways...
