Default 402/408 with a d1 and EPP fmic

im looking in to building a 402 or 408 and putting a EPP fmic D1 procharger on it. im thinking about running a 17lb's of boost. what am i looking at power wise?

i am thinking an f1a would do better on the 402-408 i dont know if u could get 17lbs out of the d1

17 lbs should get you around 800 RWHP, assuming good heads and cam are being used.

I too doubt you'll see 17psi with a ls6 and good heads.

See my sig for what i'm running and I get 10 lbs.

Got some rpm's left in the blower so i'm going to try a bigger crank pulley and see what happens.

I don't know if I can even get a blower pulley smaller than 3.45 and even if I could I wouldn't use it just because I bet i'd be slipping belts like crazy.

We got 16 lbs of boost and 757 rwhp out of this 402/D-1SC Trans-Am. This was on my Mustang Chassis Dyno. Bob

I see that to get the 4" inlet installed a little carving on the core support was needed. What about after you installed the "be cool" rad. I know that one is much thicker. Did you relocate the radiator at all?

The Be Cool radiator was not a direct swap, but I don't remember exactly what we had to do to get it to work. Jake might remember as he did the install. Bob
