Questions about creating a custom FMIC setup Hey all,
In the next few months here I plan on taking the plunge and getting a D1SC. I'd like to do a FMIC, but I want to keep the fogs, so I can't use the EPP kit. Instead, I'm going to try to go custom. I'm a good wrench turner, but I'm not into fabbing, so this will be a new experience for me, and I have a few questions:
1) Does anyone know what size IC will fit between the fogs on a T/A so I can keep them? I'm sure I can measure this off pretty easily, but if anyone has a setup like this, I'd love to hear your input.
2) Does anyone recommend a particular universal tubing kit? I'm not having a lot of luck finding them, honestly.
3) What type of tubing should I use? Aluminum? Stainless?
4) Any other advice on mocking it up, getting it welded or anything like that?
