SEARCHED AND CAN NOT GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER c6 manifold ?
when using c6 manifolds to do a turbo setup can you use both sides or does one side HAVE to be a truck manifold? Someone said that if you use both sides it interferes with the steering linkage but then someone also said it did not interfere. I searched and cant get a a straight answer. anyone done this?

it hits the steering shaft and the motor mount. The tab where one of the bolt passes through the C6 manifold touches a few things and you cant grind it because you will end up chopping off where the bolt is supposed to go. Passenger side it will fit with a tiny amount of modification, but it fits very snugly in there. I beleive i had them reversed and facing forward and only one of them fit on my 1999 Trans Am LS1 single front mount turbo setup....hope this helps some. If you have any more questions PM me, i have a motor on a chopped front end with everything on it and i have a few sets of manifolds laying around to try different combinations. Good luck either way...
