D1sc in my 3rd Gen with a LS1...
I recently bought a 88GTA with a LS1/4l60 in it...very nice car.I have the opportunity to pick up a D1sc...It is the twin intercooled one for the 4th Gens.charger sits down under the alternator.
Here is my problem...And hoping to come up with an easy solution....
The stock mounting area for this setup isnt great for a 3rd Gen,It appears that my steering box is going to be in the way,Now,I have a bunch of room in front of the Pass side head,is there any brackets that can mount the charger there instead? If so,Who has them and how much would they cost?It looks like a vette type install would work fine on my car,With the charger turned around up on the pass side.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,Shawn

Here is the ATI ProCharger clocking guide, which shows that the C5/C6 blower is the same as the LS1 F Body.

Here is a link to the piece parts that I sell for the C5.

The list of parts that I have here will get you on your way to installing the head unit in the C5/C6 location. Bob

Thank you very much for the Info,And taking the time to post the links to the pieces I need.
It appears that it will not really be cost effective to go that route for me,So,back to the original idea of putting a turbo on Instead.I have a friend that does real nice fab work,All it will cost me is the Materials.Anyone have a good Idea for what size Turbo I should go with? The motor is mainly stock..And will stay that way until it blows,Then a Nice Iron 402 is going in.
Ricky...Here are a few pics of the car...
