Default 10.22@133.7, One Step closer for my Rearmount S-10

Took the truck about 100 miles from home on the weekend to compete in "Thunder in the Valley"

Was a fun weekend with lots of good 10.50 passes one 10.38pass and when I finally dialed the suspension in a little bit I got a slip looking like this

60' - 1.52
1/8 - 6.54
1.8mph 106.7
1/4 - 10.22
MPH - 133.7

370Cube
Precision PT76GTS Remote Mount
TIAL 44mm Gate
Tial 50MM Bov
Stock Crank
Compstar Rods - Speed inc
Diamond Pistons - Speed inc
Trend H13 pins - Speed inc
Patriot heads
Mamo Ported Fast 90MM
Yank SS3600
Currie 9"
M/T 295/65/15 Radial

All this at only 13psi and on Pump gas. Unfortunatly though this is the limit of the Stock 2.2L flex fuel pump, and likely stock lines as well. So I will ride the year out here and upgrade the fuel system once the snow flies.

Big Thanks to Finishline Trans for the 60E taking abuse like a champ.

Sweet setup!

your truck and my car look identical on time slips. I just wish I lived in a cooler climate What size is your piping from the turbo to the intercooler? How does it spool for you? What race weight is your truck? My converter is too tight for my ST80 setup so that hurts my spool time some. A 3500 RPM stall would really make my setup come alive, but would hurt my streetability unless it was a VERY good converter.

Zombie I am very much in the same boat as you... I dont have any intercooler but do run a Snow meth kit. My charge side is 3" all the way to the front with a small section that is actually 3.5" . Hotside is 2.5"Y into a single 3.5" coated and wrapped.

I had a Yank 3600 done for my Old NA 370 setup it shrunk to about a 2800 behind this new setup and I could use some more converter too. I am hitting it with a 100shot till 6psi with an NX boost referenced controller to get the sixty foot. Off the 2 step at 2700 I can only get a 1.7 sixty leaving at 3psi foot brake. Full boost in first is 4500rpm. I am really impressed with the spool time based on where the turbo is.

DA was 3500' on the pass raceweight is 3988with me in it. Rear gear is a 3.73 but I am on a 30" tall tire.

Thanks TJ... And thank you for your help and advise along the way. I have a few tricks left that might get it there this year but they will be suspension changes. Still have 6 possible race dates left here before old man winter comes around.

How in the world did you get it to 3988?

No intercooler.....have you thought about switching to e85? Or is an intercooler in the future? That has 9.60 all over it, nice truck.

Truck is still packing 2 10" subs 2 amps, A/C, Cruise Control, Spare tire, a mild steel bar, My 240lb ***. I have made no effort at all for weight reduction in this thing and it is showing for sure.

E85 is not here yet but I want to go with it when we do have it. Thinking about adding a PT1000 somewhere. Not a whole lot of room available.
