Can you SAFELY boost an L92?
just curious, might be making a deal with someone to get an L92 long block.. It needs a piston so ill probably end up getting a forged rotating assembly for it, which would prob. make it a 418ci.. Would probably temporarly run the L92 heads until i swapped to an aftermarket head... what do you guys think? Can you run a boosted set up? Shooting for something near 800+/- rwhp.
and please, lets keep this on topic with an L92 6.2 L and not an 370 iron block or what not.. Thank you!

I had heard that the quality of the LS3 was not as good as the the lS2 block (some are ok, some are not) for whatever reason so was advised to stay away at least on high hp applications. I would think N/A would be fine. With the ZR1 using this block in 2009, I would assume any deficiencies would be corrected. I have also seen were they are incorporating other improvements as well. I would make sure you get a 2009.
