Default Help Needed! Injector or Thermostat Trouble

I have a 1987 Iroc-Z Camaro, when I am driving or even at just an idle randomly the service engine soon light will come on and the car will start to run funny. If I don't touch the gas peddle most times the car will just start to idle very low (500 rpm) then will eventually shut off. If I press down on the gas pedal and try to go or am already driving there is very little power or sometimes even no power but the car keeps running. The the service engine soon light will flicker off and the car will go back to normal but the next time I go below 10mphs the car just shuts off.

After the service engine soon light flickers off there is usually a small poof of smoke that comes out the tail pipes. It feels like there is something clogging up the engine... IDK what the problem is. Injectors or Thermostat I have no idea.

I have replaced the fuel pump and O2 sensor so I doubt its either of those.
Any help would greatly be appreciated!
