Default Fuel Regulator

Finishing up on my 408 project got down to fuel rails which I bought some Fast Rails, my buddy helping me asked where was my fuel regulator!! Do I need an up front fuel regulator are is the in tank reg. good enough? Help want to start my car tomorrow been down for 11 months cant wait..

a regulator after the rails is better, the one in the tank depends on the amount of hp you are running.

Thanks, but is the one in tank ok just to it going get some breakin miles on her until I get aftermarket?

if you decide to go boost then you need to upgrade.

as long as your in your ~58psi fuel pressure range..

My stock reg took a ****, I ended up putting one post rails as mentioned, works like champ. But, to regulate it, I had to bump up to a -6 return line, the stock return was too small and a bottle neck.

Well week later but finally got her startsd today good fuel pressure liitle over 60psi so I guess the stock regulator good for now.
