Racetronix and 500-550rwhp
I've been searching and pretty much know the answer, but just wanted to verify. I didn't want to deal with the dual intake setup, nor do I think I really need it.
Going to be between 500-550 RWHP on a Procharger setup. Planning to run the racetronix pump since its easy enough to install. Was debating about the hot-wire kit, but seems like I'll probably have to do that.
So will it be sufficient with or without the hot-wire kit?

In the installation instructions, it says not to use the factory wiring because you would not be supplying enough power to the racetronix. It could damage the pump and you won't get the full output of the pump.

Seems like forced inductions setups require more pump than N/A applications at the same power level, I would guess due to needing to overcome the pressure introduced by the blower. Better to have too much fuel than not enough when it comes to not blowing your engine...
That said, the routing might end up being more of an issue than dual vs. single pump setups...a front mounted, boost referenced regulator might be a better choice over the factory dead head setup, but that is an entirely different issue.

Thanks for the responses guys. Would like to hear from a few more running it within that range.
I figured I would have to get the Hot-wire kit as well, just not a fan of having a power wire ran under the car. So I'll figure something out to make it look nice.

I have a 98 and installed the 98 Racetronix kit in 2005 from Racetronix but purchased through Thunder Racing. It came with a plug and play wiring kit that replaced the stock wiring. It was my assumption that the wiring in my original kit was larger than stock enhancing electrical power to the pump as required to produce more flow.
But this thread mentions the 'hot wire' kit.
What is different about the hot wire kit vs the original wiring loom that came with the Racetronix kit?
If there is a difference then does the 'hot wire' kit replace the wiring loom that originally came with my original kit?
I don't recall (2005) there was any mention of an upgrade when I purchased the kit.
Please clarify.
