Default difference between walbro and racetronix?

what is the difference between these two pumps? i think the racetronix is based off of the walbro. are they the same or is one better quality?

Racetronix is based off the Walbro pump, but there are many variations of the same Walbro pump & all are not created equal.

The Racetronix is also packaged with the proper wiring, non-rubber fuel connections & a venturi hookup for proper operation. Many of the budget kits do not have these features.

Essentially you get what you pay for....

I stock these kits if interested.

well i rather not buy junk so i might as well go with the racetronix kit. is this kit adequate for a 550 horsepower ls1 camaro? i don't want anything too exotic. it is a street car. could you pm me a price on this pump with the proper hotwire kit? thanks

I've heard of this too many times...

starting to wonder if it's user install error or just a crap product...

I cannot speak for your experiences, but I have never had a reported pump failure in all the years I've been selling them.

I'll tell you that I have NO personnel experience Lonnie. Not trying to hide that fact. But I have heard on MANY occassions on here of people's racetronics kits not lasting more than 6-12 months. Then of course, Racetronix is no where to be found when you need them. They don't supply a phone number, or so I've heard. Just not too impressed with them that's all...

as a matter of fact, I would recommend to anyone that does decide to purchase this kit, go through either you or another vendor on here so they at least have someone to talk to if a problem does arise, and have some decent customer service to deal with.

I know your business usually gets really good praise on here, and I'm sure for good reason...

Same here, I always wonder how some radom person will have multiple failures yet on our cars we have gone 50k miles without a hiccup.

When installed correctly and not run dry of fuel I have not seen an issue either.

i have had lonnies dual pump set up in my car for almost 5 years now. i never ran them dry. i know a few local guys running them with no problems. lonnie is very helpful, knowledge and never cuts ya short on the phone, so im sure if there was a problem it would be handled professionally
