Default LS6 to LS2 injector Question...

...my C5 Z has a 383 with an LS2 intake/fuel rail(spaced up),but LS6 injectors!
I now have LS2 injectors and have the harness adapters coming...if i go ahead and install the LS2 injectors will the car run with the present tune and how well?Enough to drive it a bit till i can get re-tuned?
Thanks-Dominic

Why screw around, either get it tuned to the new injectors or wait until you are ready to get it tuned and then put the injectors in.

Why are you changing them?

The ls6 ones do not fit the ls2 intake correctly, plus i think this engine could bennifit from a bit more injector...

Your tuner would have been able to tell you that. If it was tuned properly with a wideband O2 sensor and the right information monitor like injector duty cycle and injector pulse you would know exactly. You should't just guess.
