Default gas tank cleaning with electrolysis

If you guys havn't used this to clean rusted parts you need to look into this! It amazed me it actually worked. I do have a question though. Does anyone know if you do this do you need to put a rust preventative inside the tank? I've heard you do and you dont. I prolly will just in case but can a get anything from advance auto parts or something like that to do it? I am coating the outside of the tank with undercoating.

If you kill the coating on the inside of the tank, the moisture present when the fuel level is down, WILL cause rust.
Using the so called tank coatings is not always successful. Some fuel additives will kill it, and it'll end up in your fuel system...
A rusty tank has 1 place: In the scrap pile.
[Just had a Vette w/ over 2" of rust in the bottom of the tank!]

i think all camaro/firebirds from 99+ came with a plastic fuel tank, if you do not have one and yours is rusty, that would be a good time to upgrade.
