Default '99 Dual in-tank with the direct fit walbro??

Hey guys, I have a 99 Z28 that i upgraded to the "direct fit" walbro 255 pump. Can I run that pump with another universal walbro, and not need to cut the bucket? I dont like the idea of hacking up the bucket and worrying about running it dry.

and if i HAVE to cut the bucket, do i just cap off the little nipple on the top of the pump that used to fill the bucket??

thanks for the help.

You have to cut the bucket & I use a differnet pump than the 99up direct fit dut to the different fuel sock requirements.

If you want a turnkey solution, feel free to gve me a call.
