Default Need Info on AN fitting O' Rings.

I am putting my fuel system together and I need various O'Rings for all my male AN fittings. AN-6, AN-8, AN-10, AN-12. I need to know the ID and OD of each of the O' Rings so I can tell my supplier what I need. Are there any links that will give me the info I need?

Thanks,

Most fittings with orings { ORB Fittings} Are machined Differently then non oring style just so you know.

I hate playing musical fittings.

Umm, those fittings don't require o rings. The sealing surface is the 37* flare. No sealant of any type is to be used either.

That's originally what I thought, but the shop installing
the system was asking for them.

I'm thinking someone at the shop doesn't know what they're doing, the fittings in the link you provided don't use o-rings.

As ak95ta said, an AN fitting has a 37º flare sealing surface, no o-rings are necessary and don't use any type of sealant. We use a lot of these type fittings on our street rods, especially in the brake & fuel systems.

none of the fittings in the link provided use a o ring. this is the type of fitting that use an oring.

I have a different AN fitting question. What fitting would I use to go from a 3/8 fuel line with a factory flare fitting on the end? They aren't the same as NPT are they?

Thanks
Mark

I already planned on using those on my fuel rail and regulator/filter. I am swapping a 5.3 into a 1972 Jimmy and have to do a whole new fuel delivery. I know they make a compression fitting to go from 3/8 or 5/16 hard line to AN Hose. I was just wondering if I bought a piece of fuel line with a factory flare fitting on it is there a fitting to go to AN? I just think something like that would be better than a straight compression

This is the closest I can find and says to aluminum tube?
