Default c5 injectors work right? (see link inside)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/30-lb...item2c51a3f545

Should work no problem right?

I got a 2000 camaro and I'm pretty sure they came with 26lbers and these 30lbers should be sufficient with a cam swap.

Also, my buddy has his old 42lbers off his '08 z06 would those work as well?

your 26 are rated at 58psi they are 22 at 43.5psi,, the ford 30 are rated at 39.15psi.. so, when you put them in the ls they will become 36,, the 42 will be 50, probably to much for a cam change, the 30 will work at 36 fine with a good tune

So they are 42# on a z06 but swapping them to an LS1 it bumps up the pressure to a 50# injector?

no the zo6 runs a rail pressure of 58 also.. In fact all LS series use 58 rail pressure. The confusion is that injectors are rated in the aftermarket at 43.5 and the OE specs are using the rating of the particular injector in the car it was installed at. Example. The LS3 injector is a 42lb injector in that car. The same injector is used in a new Porsche but the Porsche uses a rail pressure of 72 (5 bar) the identical injector is now a 51lb.. So when you look at those red top fords they are going to be 36 in your car because of your higher rail pressure than the rated injector. The zo6 injector will NOT fit in a ls1 rail. They are only 1 inch too short and the wire wont connect. I hope this helps

Ok thank you sir. The ones in the ebay auction (c5 injectors) still have a day left, so I'll make sure I pick them up since they are only around 100 bucks....

The c5 injectors in that auction are plug and play right, no modifications needed?
