Default Do I need to upgrade fuel/ignition system? (425-500hp)

Just through a rod in the stock 100,000mile LS1, so now im going to a TSP 383 with stage 2.5 LS6 heads, and the 224/224 cam... staying with the LS6 intake.

Its been suggested to me that I upgrade injectors (what size please?) but I also would like to know if I should/need to change my fuel pump or any ignition related parts??? Wouldnt have any clue how much the stock fuel system could support, but based on what ive seen im expecting between 425-500hp depending on tune. ( I live close to sea level )

Secondly if I should/need to change fuel pump, what do you reccomend?

the right size would be 36 rated at 43.5 fuel pressure. When you run those at 58psi which is your fuel pressure they become 42. If you buy 42 they will be 50 in your rail which is a little big for the head cam combo you are running. We do not believe in over injecting an engine. Go with a 255 pump also, here is a link on an the injectors.

Agreed ^. I just order flow match Bosch 36#'s (42# @ 58psi) from him yesterday, and I already have a Racetronix pump and hotwire kit installed. I outta be around 420-440 N/A here soon.

Well if you plan on more mods I would just do the SVO 42lb injectors, so you are not spending more money on a second set of injectors. Plus I have heard that they are very easy to scale the injectors.

i ran 447 rwhp n/a with stock injectors and pupm. but injectors were maxed out. i agree with 36#'s and a racetronix pump.

I agree with the statements above. either 36# or 42#ers and a Racetronix 255 PnP kit.
