useing ls1 injectors on ls3 intake and ls3 fuel rail will it work
hey guy help me out here will a ls1 injector work in a ls3 intake and ls3 fuel rail. need to know what to do fast because its pooring fuel out of injectors.

Replace the faulty injectors
LS1 vs LS2/3 injectors are different heights so you cannot mix/match them and expect the rail to even bolt down anymore. Then add in the different flow ratings for each. LS1s are either 26 or 28 depending on the year, LS3s are 42's so you'll be super lean on the replaced injector cyls
Doing them as a set is challenging because the different heights means the rail will need some minor fab work to bolt down properly. Then tuning is required

LS3 injectors are about 38mm oring to oring.
LS1 injectors are about 63mm oring to oring.
That's a lot of space you have to accomodate, as well as the difference in flow as Pocket mentioned.
LS2 injectors are in-between the LS1 and LS3 injectors regarding oring to oring height.

I have the same issue. Found this old thread. Any resolution? I’ve already ordered a mail order tune for the ls1 upgraded injectors cuz I saw all I needed was the cheap rail pedestals and larger bottom o-ring.

Ls1 Injector pn 125434 oring to oring body length 2.4in about 63mm.
ICT billet 551307-105 fuel rail spacer
and eBay (alper-motorsports) O-rings to adapt Ls1 injectors to Ls2, ls3, ls7 Intake manifold, O-rings adapter.
spraying fuel out at the rail to injector seal as I prime the system. Car is 2000 ws6 with a crate ls3.
It’s so late in the season I’m at wits end and considering new ls3 injectors and retune

Currently running LS1 style 60lbs injectors on a ls3 intake. The above is a good setup. I made risers for my fuel rails (2006) was using billet ls1 fuel rails, and had to order the larger O rings to get them to seal properly.
No leak issues for me.
