Depends how your fuel pressure is holding up. I'm having issues, so I had to install an FPR and re-plumb 50% of the system.

a FPR is typically used if you are completely re-doing your fuel system OR adding forced induction where you are having to compensate for the pressure difference at the injector for the physical injected fuel pressure versus boost.

you could also replace the factory fuel pressure reg.

When i first did my fuel upgrades, I put in 42# injectors and the Racetronix pump kit w/harness. Prior to that, and after that installation I had no problems with fuel pressure
