Default Nylon corrugated fuel hose install help

I ordered a few pieces of nylon corrugated hose to connect 2 walbros to barb fittings, but I am not having any luck installing it. I have tried boiling water w/ a little oil, but couldn't even get it past the first barb. I need the flexibility of the corrugated hose, so I don't think submersible rubber hose will work.

Any suggestions welcome

Talking My way...

We use a heat gun to warm it up.
A trik old folks use, is to put the fitting in the alum vise jaws, facing away from you. Put a pad on the close side of the vise,[keeps body damage to a minimum!].
Warm the hose and then pull it on. Tig welding gloves are my choice.
We use crimp clamps on the connections.
We use Fragola hose, fittings, clamps.

Don't use a heat gun on nylon. It will never shrink back to its original size or strength

I set the end I was installing into boiling water until it was just pliable enough to be installed. Shrunk down just fine almost immediately.
