Default home made hot wire kit??? what size wire

I am making my own hot wire kit I have 10g from alternator to relay now what size wire is need from relay to pump Still the 10g?

Where is your relay? If it is back by your pump you can undersize it by one gauge but if it is up front I'd keep the same size wire. Voltage will drop over a long distance run so the longer the run the larger the wire needs to be. You will notice most OE supply wires are 16 to 14 gauge from the pump to the sender lid.
