Default Walbro pump fuel fitting

ok this may sound dumb but here goes.

I am hooking up a walbro in line pump
http://m.summitracing.com/parts/vpn-gsl392bx

The inlet and outlet are strait thread. I've got AN6 / strait thread fittings. There is no O ring or gasket face to seal the strait thread into the pump. WTF? Someone told me they just screwed theirs in and tightened them and had no leaks. That just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. I mean gasoline at 60psi through a pin hole is a bad scene if you ask me.

Is there something I'm not seeing here?

Default walbro fittings

I have the same setup but I bought the installation kit which includes the 2 -6 fittings and 2 copper crush washers, so what you need is the 2 copper crush washers I'm thinking 3/8" brake banjo fitting washers will work, but I'd measure to be sure.
