Default Race gas SES light?

Ok i was at the track last night and was running out of gas so i got a couple gallons of 99 octane gas. A few hours later on the way back my ses light came on. Could it be fouled out sparkplugs misfiring? I couldnt feel any difference and its not making any weird sounds, any suggestions?

Higher octane isin't really going to give you more power unless you have a higher compression. 91-93 octane is whats pretty much recommended when stock internals. Yeah it's probaly fouled out because that high octane isin't burning up with your stock compression. (assuming your stock. do you have milled, different heads or head gasket)

I know its only 99 octane but was it leaded by chance? that can ruin o2's as well.

I don't see why 99octane would be enough to throw a code though. It's not rated much more than the recommendation. Could it be the PCM was just having trouble trying to re-adjust to it? Idk, I would suggest taking it somewhere just to get the code pulled up out of memory so you can have an idea what went wrong, and if something goes wrong again in the near future, it will atleast give you a good starting point.
