Default Should I upgrade my fuel system?

I am going to be getting a forged ls1 347ci with these heads and all the other mods in my sig.

Should I get a new fuel pump, injectors, ect or is my stock system good enough? I'm aiming for 430-440rwhp, and my redline will be at 6800.

Since you have a 2000, you have some pretty small injectors from the factory (assuming you still have them). With your old setup, I would place a healthy wager that you were maxing them out, since I see 83% duty cycle with my 28lb injectors on my bolt-ons only car.

Injectors would be advised (at least SVO 30s if not a little more)...your pump might handle it, but the only way you'd know for sure is to monitor the fuel pressure during WOT runs just to make sure.

I guess that gives me a good excuse to buy a fuel pressure gauge

Alright so it looks like I can add 42lbs fuel injectors to the shopping list for now.
