Default Search not working, 98 Fuel Pump "?"

Hey guys,
I'm bout to purchase a Walbro intank pump for my setup, however the "New Direct Fit" shows 99+, does anyone know if this is a typo, or why it wont work on a 98? I am doing a LS1 swap into my LT1, so I don't see why I couldn't use it in my current pump, I'm just raising the pressure to the LS1 desired spec of 58 over the LT1 of like 43 I believe....Thanks!!

Also I know the "Hot Wire" kit is desired for people making a decent amount of power, but does it have an advantage on a stock motor, with a few bolt-ons?

The LT1 kit, the '98 kit & the '99up kits should use 3 different configurations. All 3 tanks are different as well. If using a separate fuel pressure regulator, you can upgrade to a new LT1 intank setup. It will work well with the LS1 as long as you have a way to properly control the fuel pressure.

So N8, since my car is an LT1 car can I just put the 99+ Direct Fit Walbro pump, and hotwire kit in it, or do I need to do the LT1 pump? Eitherway from what we talked I drew it out, and can plumb fuel line from the back to the front getting a regulator using the 98 rails I have, or FAST for $500 braided up to the rail....

If you can help me out on this pump thing, it would be APPRECIATED as all the other help you have been is...

If you have an LT1 tank, use the LT1 kit. The '98 or '99 up kit is not designed to fit the LT1 tank. The LT1 Racetronix kits are in stock.

Because it is not a direct fit.....

The pump mounting is different on all 3, the fuel socks are different & the hose is a different length.

The Racetronix wiring actually plugs in, no splicing is required

I sell 3 different kits so they do fit correctly.
