Default Ford Motorsport 30# w/stock tune

Sorry, search ain't working for me.

Will a '99 Camaro run with the red tops on a stock tune for a couple of weeks, or do I need to put them in right before the dyno tune?

Thanks

Install them right before you go on the dyno. You'll run really rich without a tune since the programming need to be scaled for the larger size injectors. I asked the same question a year ago, and that was the near unanimous consensus.

Tow it to the dyno or would it be ok to drive say 10-15 miles?

You can drive it....it just won't drive good at all! You may foul the plugs if it stays too rich for too long! You'll probably be OK...I would think anyway!

I drove to the shop on stock injectors, parked the car out front and swapped injectors to my 30's right in the street. Wasn't about to pay labor for someone else to do it, and I didn't feel like paying for a tow. Guys at the shop were making fun of me for it (??), but the car runs without a problem.
