95 LT1 Fuel Pump Questions.
I am having problems with my 95 Z. It requires 3 to 4 primes of the pump to cold start it. I can hear the fuel pi**ing back into the tank, and pressure drops fast when the car is shut off or after the pump is primmed(engine off). I have seen vague references to a check valve in the tank, and from what I can gather this is my problem.
Is the check valve on the pump, in other words, will swapping the pump fix this? Are there any good after market pumps out there for the 95? I have seen the Racetronics set-up, but there kit is not for my year.

You may have a regulator problem as well. They can bleed pressure back to the tank just the same as the pump..... so check that out. You can remove your return line from the tank & plug it, this way you will see if the pump holds pressure by cycling the key on/off.
