Default Have a quick question and need a quick answer

Are all the ls1 and ls6 injectors the same size as in height?

My injectors are not going all the way down with the fuel rail hooked up. There is about an 1/8 of an inch gap between the bottom of the manifold and the bottom of the injector.

All gen 3 LS injectors are the same as far as external dimensions are concerned...

So why doesn't it bottom out on the manifold?

Ls2 injectors are a shorter design, and have different plugs.

I knew the ls2 were shorter, but these are off of my 98 ls1. It just doesn't seat all they way at the bottom of the intake. They do not leak air in but it just doesn't look right. Any thoughts?

When I put it on yesterday I didn't assemble it when everything was off. So I thought it was something I did wrong. So today I took the manifold off and redid it. Same thing. But like I said it doesn't leak air, but it also doesn't seat at the bottom of the manifold.

are they all stuck up high or just one? Did you put any lube on the o-ring to make sure it gets seated? Any chance another O-ring is stuck beneath it?

They are all high. I used oil to lubricate. All the holes were empty. It's not leaking so I give up...
