Hey folks, I've got a 2000 Z28 and just picked up a Dana for it. Will the stock swaybar fit behind it for now until I decide on which larger bar to go with? Its a daily driver H/C/I/N2O car with occassional track use (once the Dana gets put on) I don't want to go with a dedicated drag bar, but figure I will probably want an upgrade to get more acceptable 60' times.

Also, when people swap these rear ends into their cars, do you just go ahead and paint the entire thing or just the mounting points and center section to prevent them from rusting? Its got an aluminum T/A cover so I don't want to paint that because it looks pretty good, but should I paint the axle tubes too? Thanks

i painted the whole thing minus the cover. my stock sway bar fit.

I painted mine with some rattle can black and the spohn 22mm fit rite on there(if you plan to get that one for future ref.)

The weld on BMR kit works the best for all covers. The TA cover will need some constructive grinding for the pan hard bar.

I havethe alum cover on my S60, stock bar fit fine, So did my spohn 1inch
