Default Whats a good street gear?

I have a 2000 T/A. Im currently doing a A4 to M6 swap, I put a set of 4.10's in my car when it was A4 and it was just too much gear for driving on the highway. What is a good gear for a M6 car for Daily Driver??

I had 4.56's for awhile behind a t56, were a riot on the street but ran out of gear at the track. Averaged 23-25mpg with them on power tour. Just switched to 4.30's at the end of last season. I'd stick with your 4.10's, they are a great gear for a M6 car and stock height tires......but if you've still got a 10 bolt be nice to it!!!

Stick w/ the 4.10's in 6sp. What i have always ran...they are perfect. When i went w/ the Fabbed 9' i thought about a 4.30, but went with the 4.11 instead and am loving it.

4.10's all the way. in my opinion its really the perfect gear for a m6. i think that 4.56's are a little much if the car is gonna be driven nearly everyday.

I put the 3.42 gear back in it and im getting about 20-22mpg rite now with the A4. Im driving between 80-100 miles a day. Will the 3.42 gear do fine on the track or do i need to put the 4.10 back in it or get a set of 3.73??? Keep in mind that this car want see the track but maby once a month.
What type of mpg should i get with the 3.73, or 4.10 with the M6???
I have heard of people getting 28-29mpg with the 3.73 gear, could that be true?

Gas mileage was fine in 6th gear with the 4.10's....But with a 28'' tire and all motor I need a little more gear.....

if u are keeping the a4, go with the 3.73's 28 mpg is possible with thios gear in a m6 also. if a m6 is what u are gonna run, get 4.10's.

4.10 is a awesome gear for a m6 driven daily. i have done a few 4.10's in some m6's. never had a complaint about too much gear or less gas milege.

My uncle put 3.73's in his a4 car, and he got much better city mileage. And it was FUN to play with
