9' help....fill spot same spot to install breather?
I have read threads as far back as 2002 but still do not understand.
I have had a Moser now for 3 years. I have never messed with the oil since I don't drive over 1k a year and have very little signs of drip.
But I do want to make sure I have enough oil in it and make sure it stays that way going forward.
so:
1. Where exactly is the darn fill hole? I have read conflicting answers to this.
2. Is the fill hole the same place I would install the vacuum hose to stop some of the occasional leaking?
https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axl...-breather.html
3. What fluid/type is best for the moser?
4. Anyone else install the vacuum lines and/or breather since 2008 (the last post i couldn't find)
Thank you!!!!!

the fill is on the side of the 3rd member, Filling through the breather...well would probably work but you still have to remove the plug in the 3rd to know when its full. As far as what type of fluid. Moser says to use Non synthetic.

Moser installation instructions. Use 3-1/3 quarts of non synthetic gear oil. The vent is on top of the driver side axle tube, add several feet of vacuum line to the provided Moser supplied fitting. Bob
