Think 9" w 31 spline axles and true trac posi is strong enough? Hey there is a diff here in town for sale. it is a 9" from quick perfromance. It is 3.50 gears with 31 spline axles and trutrack posi.
Do you think this would be strong enough or are the axles too small. I am running about 550 crank hp 6 spd car, with the sts kit. When this blows up it will be getting forged and a bigger turbo so say in the 650hp area.
This is mostly a street car with the odd friday night at the race track probably on some drag radials or 10 slicks.
Think this is strong enough or should I wait and get a locker with 35 spline axles?

I think so, some will say no though. Ive ran my 31 spline tru trac 10 1.4 60's in my old nitrous setup and i daily drive it behind my current setup. Both 6 speed cars being launched on slicks. Hasnt given me any problems yet. My .02
