Gear change without speedometer calibration question!!
I want to know something.......going from 3.42 w/ 6 speed manual, stock tire size of 275/40/17 on a Camaro/Trans Am
If you put in 3.73’s, without speedometer calibration...are you going faster or slower? How much?
If you put in 3.23’s without speedometer calibration...are you going faster or slower? How much?
Sorry if this has been asked before!!
example...if your speedometer is reading -4 to -5mph slower then your actual speed (70mph is really say, 75), do you have 3.27's or 3.73's?
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question....

I recently changed gears from 3.23 to 3.73 and now when the speedometer reads 80, GPS reads 68. Speaking of this, I tried changing the calibration with my Predator, but no change. I am thinking it's because I have a custom tume installed from RWTD (from 5 years ago) and it may be locked. Anyone had a similar problem?
