there are no real good performance parts available for the 10 bolt that will make it as strong as a 9 inch, 12 bolt, or S60. you can upgrade to some good quality aftermarket axles, girdle cover, Eaton posi(or even a spool), and a good gearset, but the problem is simply the size and design of the rerarend itself. it simply isn't beefy enough to handle shock loads, especially in a M6 car. the auto trans cars will see the rearend live much longer, but there is still a break point even so. the 9 bolt borg-warner rear was supposed to be a stronger unit, but it is still a 7.5 inch gear design in the end. I suggest saving your pennies and stepping up to a aftermarket rearend of some sort and never worry about it again. pm or call me for a quote on whatever rearend you like... we have the best deal on all of them, and the knowledge/experience to back it up.
