9" center section questions
ok i am purchasing a 9" housing for my t.a. moser with moser 35spline axles with studs and everything. Only thing i need is all the center section stuff. Ok i know i need a 3.250 center section will any 3.250 measured carrier work? Also just a spool for a 35 spline axles and then a gear. Is there anything else ? Also i want it to fit the stock driveshaft, i have heard i just need a stock ford 28 spline yoke? Is this all i need and correct ? thanks

any 3.250 carrier will work. i would get a rebuild kit such as all new bearings, bolts for your ring gear, new nut for the pinion gear. An adjustable solid tube "crush sleeve". i would choose a daytona pinion support and bearing. to make it fit the stock driveshaft you will need a 1350 yoke. but if you choose a daytona pinion support and bearing setup you will need a "daytona" pinion yoke, its a little shorter due to the larger daytona pinion bearing. depening on the pinion gear setup you choose with either 28 spline or 31 will depend on your yoke.
i think that should be about it for your center section
