Default 7.5 or 7.625?

I tried searching, but never found a definite answer.

My son's 2000 Z-28 axles are growling like my '02 did several years ago.

I find listings for axles for both 7.5" and 7.625" differentials in this car.

How do I tell for sure which one we have?

Thanks, zeebad1.

there shouldn't be 2 axles listed.
we(you) have 7.625 differentials with 28 spline.
2 different axles could be listed, but it would have to be in regards to 3 channel ABS and/or 4 channel ABS & TC,not because of differential.

That's what I was assuming, but wanted to be sure.

Thanks for the help.
