Default bent axle?

How do i find out if an axle is bent while it is still in the rear end? I think it's bent, but i'm not totally sure.

It could be a bent wheel or an out of balance tire that you are feeling. Jack up the rear, and with someone staying in the driver seat, put the car in gear and see if the wheel/tire is wobbling. If the wheel and tire wobbles, then remove them and see if you can see the axle wobble. Bob

Are they strange axles?

Take the wheel off set Dial indicator at 0000 on the axle flange. Then rotate the axle, check with mfg for run out limit.

Another indicator is your breaks will squek at slow speed when your not appling them as the bent axle bumps the rear pads.
