Default M12 Transmission MainShaft BROKE

Are the aftermarket mainshafts significantly better? The stock one twisted off. When looking at it, the metal doesn't look that dense. I'm assumming the aftermarket shafts are higher grade metal like the aftermarket axles.

Which brands are avail and are the best? While its out, going to fix it right.

I need to talk to RPM on Mon to find out more, but the trans in there is an RPM LEVEL5 and has ~5 passes on it. Was a little surprised it spewed the shaft since the stock one held up forever.

Update:
Here is what ~500rwhp + RPM LEVEL5 M12 TRANS + 5 PASSES looks like. For those of you thinking about an upgraded trans, get the stronger shaft and DTE brace!!! You can never have enough strength in the drive-train. Lucky for me, I have a really good trans guy locally that is going to put in the 9310 shaft.

I would be VERY interested in anyone that has videos of a C5 rear end on launch.
