Drive shaft gurus plz step inside!
Only thing i can think of was the heater hose mod, but why would it wait about 1400 miles to do this? ive been trying to figure out the noise and i did. the scratches arent too deep but u can def feel slight grooves. do i need a new DS? i will be undoing the heater hose mode tonight.
Where i think it rubbing, i know u cant tell well from the pic but the corner of that bracket is shiney like its been filed down and directly in line with the scratches on DS:

edit: should probably add there isnt any real play in the ds, cant movei t up/down or side/side

if u let out the clutch and give it no gas u hear/see nothing, as soon as u break about 1900 rpms all hell breaks loose, vibrating, bouncing, and that. i just dont know anymore

driveshaft is now on my garage floor, no visible damage or wear other than the grooves shown above, tried gettin a better picture but it just reflects too much light to get a decent picture.

i dont see any visible damage to the torque arm/trans mounts, the rubber on the torque arm bracket is ripped on 1 side, but someone told me thats not going to cause whats going on.

New driveshaft going in today, gonna check trans mount. how do i get the clamshell off, can tell its bad. the torque arm mount(clamshell) is in pretty poor shape

well i just took off the torque arm to get the new ds in nice and easy, and when i undid the bolts at the rear on the tq arm, it split into 2 pieces... i didnt even see cracks. so now i have a top half and a bottom half of a tq arm
