cleaning differential/axle/gears before fluid change....... I'm changing the axle seals and bearings on my Strange rear-end. One is leaking. When we have the diff cover off whats the best way to clean all the gears and inside the axle before we put it back together and fill it back up with fresh fluid when its all back together?
Basically, I want every spec of old dirty fluid out.......like starting with a new rear-end.

Not sure if this is the answer you are looking for but I was told to use brake cleaner to clean inside the housing then using an air compressor to dry it before putting everything together.
