So I never dreamed my car would run in the 9s last year when I built my 9". The girst time I got to a quarter mile track last week it went 9.80s fresh off the trailor. Sad thing is I ran out of gear around 1100 feet or so. Well before the end of the track.

With a 3.89 ratio it went through the traps at 135 mph on the rev limiter set at 7400.

So not only do I need the right gear to get me through the traps but id also like to get my RPMs down around 7000 more along my power range of 6800.

Any experience or advice is welcomed.

3.73's is what i would got to or could find some thing between 3.50 and 3.70 i would go to 3.73 you should have enogh then. But still accelerate hard.

I think a 3.70 would probably just get me to the traps. I was thinking 3.55 range. Thanks for the reply.

Lol. I do more street racing and it runs really well but I was just hoping for 10.0s but it far surpassed my expectations.

with an auto 73s are hard to beat & just think you wouldve been faster with a better diff that doesnt rob so much power like a 9in
