Narrowing moser 12 bolt

Narrowing moser 12 bolt Have any of you narrowed your moser 12 bolt yourself. I want to narrow the rear 3 in per side. Is this something that i can trust someone local to do or should i send it to moser for the modification. Just dont want to screw up a good reaer. Any feedback appreciated...

It would be best to send it back to Moser, as they have the correct fixtures. Bob

my grandfather has done two rears . you have to be very careful with weld penetration and be careful not to warp the housing . Your best bet is to send it back to them . Unless you personally know someone doing it id worry about it being true and not warped.
