Default Need a decently priced 10 bolt!

Okay so I blew mine last night from a 60 roll

Need to know where I can get one for cheap to get my car back up till I finish a 9"! Any sponsors you recommend? Trying to stay under $400-$500.

Sponsors don't sell 10 bolts. I'm not really sure what you are getting at. Are you looking for a used rear or the parts to repair yours?

I'm just looking for a used one for now until I can build a 9". My local salvages don't have any

Is $450 for a rebuilt limited slip 3.42 rear a decent deal? And what are things I should check for?

If your 10 bolt finally gave out, I would deff hold off and get a stronger set up. Anything is better than the 10 bolt... Im also on borrowed time, and if it goes before coming accross on a 12 bolt for a good price, I will wait and not take any steps backwards. Correct me if im wrong, but isnt a 12 bolt more efficient in a Auto than a 9'', and a 9'' better in a M6 rather than a 12 bolt? May just be an urban myth around my way.

Well I'm getting married soon and buying a house and buying a new car soon and this is my daily for now so I'm just going to get it where its driveable again just until I get the time and money to build something else. I started looking into an 8.8 last night too... I'm probably going to ditch the th350 in the next year and go t56 since no one wants to race from a dig around here anymore... so is $450 a good deal or no?

Its a Ok price, can usually go for up to 500 bucks depending on condition. Try to get it for 400 out the door, at that price, it would make me sleep better at night.

I'm in Oklahoma. Cheapest one I've found online was $550 so $400 seems legit to me...

see plenty of stock rears on here for $200-300 if you keep your eyes peeled just make sure if yours is 3channel you buy a 3 channel , if its 4 channel buy a 4 channel etc...

then you could likely sell your blown rear end to someone looking to build a hybrid rear by welding the 4th gen 10 bolt tubes on a 8.8 , see lots of posts threads discussing this.

Ive been lurking in rear end threads getting educated for when I am in your shoes lol

if your car has traction control it will have wheel speed sensors 1 on each axle (4 channel), if it just has abs it will only have a sensor in the housing (3 channel) I hope I explained that right

your going to need a good comprehension of the differences when you spec out the 9" your talking about also or you will potentially have a new rear that wont work properly in your car....

I've got a 4 channel with 3.73s and a fresh rebuild. I'm within driving distance from you.

I've also got a 3 channel with 4.10s and a fresh rebuild also.

If you could hold off from not driving your car for awhile. Id save ever penny and go with a bigger rear.

I picked up an extra with 45k miles for $100.

Most people on the local forums to Utah are always selling em for $100-200. I'd check local forums n stuff

I've decided to tear into it with a friend who knows rear ends and figure out what broke before I replace anything. He thinks its the carrier and if I can't find a carrier to replace it then I'll most likely let it sit unless I find a good deal on a complete rear end. $380 was the cheapest I've found a posi carrier for and that's stupid to spend that much when I can put that towards a new moser...

Used carriers go for $100-125 shipped on this website all the time.
