Default question about 2002 trans am rearend plz help

i have a 2002 trans am ws6 has the torsen posi diff in it.

i put the car on stands and spun the passenger tire the drive one spun at less the half the speed i was spinning the other one.

So i moved to the drivers side i spin it and it just spins the driveshaft passenger wheel doesnt move.

So i drained the fluid opened it up and had a friend get in the car start it and put it in gear both tires spun i put my leg up agiants the drives tire and was able to stop it completely with it giveing pretty much no resistance and ever now and then a slight jerk and the passenger one kept spinning.

is this how the rearend is supose to work or should i not be able to stop my drivers wheel with no effort at all

Its a torsen not a clutch style posi. Torsens act like open rears up on jack stands.
