Default drive shaft question

OK I'm looking to order an aftermarket drive shaft. I have a built stock style 10 bolt rear in the stock location with a built T56 in the stock location.

here is my question.
the manufacturer asked me my drive shaft dimensions but I'm not sure what information I should give them. also how do I measure them.

thanks

Denny's has a diagram on their website for the measurements they need to make you a custom shaft. I personally won't use anyone else; their wait is long, but the product is worth it.

are you buying from denny's?
i ordered an aluminum 3.5" from denny, i have everything stock except a strange s60 rear axle with 1350 u-joints. I used their diagram B.
when you say built rear and built trans, are they using the stock pinion yoke that I believe is a 3R u-joint, and is the built trans still using the oem 27 spline output shaft?
For mine, I used 5/8" for B7. for you B11 if a 3R u-joint would be 1.078. for B10 locating tabs i don't know about the 10-bolt pinion yoke. B6 is the overall length and you'll want to use a good tape that you can trust and measure from the trans case to the flat front of the pinion yoke. my B6 was 42.3125" for the S60 which is shorter than the oem drive shaft because the S60 rear axle is larger and comes more forward than the oem 10-bolt. make sure when you measure B6 that everything is installed and the rear wheels are preferably on rhino ramps, the rear suspension must be loaded to get a correct measurement. i was happy going with denny's, was a few weeks wait but they were good over the phone and recommended the chrome moly yoke. to my surprise it came with a mark williams chrome moly yoke for the t56.

Thanks that helps. Yea i should have been more clear. I have a mildly upgraded t56 with stock output shaft & the 10bolt has the stock yoke with upgraded internals.

Measure your car; each car is different. When I had them make my shaft, he actually had me measure it 3 times because it was outside the "normal" for F-Body shafts, but I got the same measurement all 3 times. He made it to that, and it fit/worked perfect.

Used to live right near his shop, very standup guy; although extremely busy.
