fresh 10 bolt howling already
had my 10 bolt rebuilt with all new bearings, new gm 4.10 gear set, and new axle bearings. did good for a while, but the howl started to set in slowly. now its quite loud at highway speeds. what causes this? improper backlash, bad pinion angle, not heat cycled correctly?

The shop that did mine has a great rep and builds drag cars
all day long. They know their stuff and mine had been ran at the track 3x since (hard on MT ET streets) and I drive 40 miles a day to work - it doesn't mean it's going to explode on you. lol
