Default Pinion seal started leaking after torque arm install?

So I recently installed a UMI Adjustable torque arm with the crossmember and my rear started leaking oil the day after. I then thought it was just a coincidence and replaced the seal with the proper GM seal and the damn thing is still leaking all over the place. Seems worse now. I adjusted the pinion angle properly but I don't think that would have to do anything with it right? I mean it has to act like a "seal" and no matter how the rear sits it shouldn't let the oil out right? I'm so tired of throwing any money at this 10 bolt, you better believe my next mod is a good rear end.

Disclaimer: I am in no way blaming UMI for this, the torque arm is a great piece and feels great!
