I don't think I'm going to have enough gear to get through the 1/4 on the bottle. but I'm not sure what gear will get me there. 3,200 ish race weight, 28" tire, 4l65e, and ford 8.8 rear end. my current N/A 1/8 time is 6.80 at 101 with a transmission skipping 2nd and shifting from first to third. I plan to put a 200 shot on top of this combo. a rough guestimate on the 1/4 trap speed on motor is 125 (ish) I'm on a 4.10 gear. what gear range do I need to be looking at?

I would go to a 3.73 if your going to run it out the back like that. The deep first gear is going to help out as it is.

I'd agree with the 3.73 on the 28" tire. I have 3.73's and with a 275/40/17 (~26" tall) tire was somewhere around 6000rpm @121.xx mph in the quarter. This was on my first pass, on my second pass I spun and then my alternator burned up so I don't have any better data to go off of. I think with 4.10's you'd be hitting the rev limiter somewhere around if not before your guesstimated trap speed.
