12 bolt 30 spline to 35 spline?

Default 12 bolt 30 spline to 35 spline?
I have a 87 gmc truck (in hybrid swap forum) have a 12 bolt 30 spline rear end, can I convert it to 35 spline if i change everything? it doesnt have posi so i would be getting a new posi anyways and converting from 6 to 5 lug so im also getting new axles..

Id go 33. With 35 there isnt much meat left near the carrier bearing due to the axle size. Its kinda counter-productive.
